The Actual Flight to Juliaca

Morning weather looks great, we can see the Misty volcano and the rest of the valley is under good visibility.

Preflight of N15GJ

Nori-san and Hiro-san Tanabe

Lorne and Lynn Brett

Judy and Steve

A beautiful morning over the Andes at 23000 feet

Down to 17000 for the VOR approach and view of the Lake Titicaca in the background

We have landed at 12500

They use Tuc Tuc to check the runway....I did not realize we did that bad of a landing for them to check if there is any part left on the runway

Here we are at Juliaca Airport, The Inca Manco Capac Airport, I hope we are in line with the Inca Gods.

Oh yes we are a prepared each crew got 4 handheld bottle of Oxygen to help at that altitude

This is the track from Spider Track from Arequipa to Juliaca

The departure...they gave it to us in the reverse heading and they clear me for take off with no clearance...only a heading, I had to ask the altitude and the squawk while climbing ...when I learn our assign altitude was FL230 we were already at FL235...a gentle push over help clear the situation.

Nice VOR opening and landing
