Today we are all converging in Jamaica, from Sarasota, Pompano, Cancun, Fort Lauderdale and Stuart.
It was perfect timing with all of us landing within 10 min of each other.
Nice weather, clear visibility and excellent service on the ground and in the air.
I always get a kick when I call Havana Center at the boundary waypoint, I can practice my Spanish.
Here is the ramp, showing the Air Journey Adventurers, all Jet A burning aircraft. This is a requirement for this journey since we are going to some of the highest elevated airports in the world.

We left Stuart this morning at 10:00 am ( 09:56 to be exact)
Our traveling companions are Nori-san and Hiro-san ( Mr. and Mrs. Tanabe) from Tokyo, Japan. They previously joined us on the 2012 Around the World and we are very excited to have them join us again.
The pilot brief was done by our Flight Desk at Air Journey and was well detailed per usual - a perfect tool!
Below was our actual flight path, we couldn't have asked for a more direct route.
We arrived before noon, giving us the full day to start exploring the hotel, the beautiful Jamaica Inn, and surrounding activities. Ocho Rios, Jamaica is a great first stop to get us relaxed and ready for what is sure to be a flying adventure of a lifetime!
