This is one of the most important brief of the Journey.
We are leaving an airport at a 12500 feet elevation and landing at La Paz with a 13300 feet.
We better be on our toe and better understand all the limitation especially for the Mustang. First we cannot start the engine without the help of an outside source. This is why G came from Florida with the Start Pac.
It is fully charged and ready to be used...keeping in mind it is only good for 4 starts....so no screw up here.
The Citation will start one engine and only one of the TBM will be using the Pac.
Here is the brief

Here is the brief
Nothing complicated here a straight line a SID and a STAR
We are flying over Lake Titicaca and the surrounding are rather flat
There is an ILS starting on our route
This looks like a good runway
Next I am keeping an eye on the temperature in Juliaca....and we decide to leave the hotel at 6:00 am for the 45 mn drive to the airport and to be bale to take off while the temp is still low
These are the restrictions fort the Mustang the TBM with their derated engine can still have full power for their take-off.....not the Mustang
We also pre-clear custom and immigration at the hotel to speed up the process in the morning for take off
We are ready
